Activity Proposal
Assessment Criteria
Your proposal will be assessed on three key points:
Vision: how do you intend to creatively activate the space and how does your work respond to the space? 40% of marks.
Feasibility: can the activity be realised in the proposed timescale and does it adhere to the space’s guidelines? 30% of marks.
Accessibility: consider ways to make your activity accessible for all types of people (Disabled and/or Neurodivergent, marginalised groups, non-English speakers etc.) 30% of marks.
Your proposal will be assessed by all 6 Fore Street For All staff members and the business owner of the space you intend to use (if applicable).
Whether you’re an artist, musician, activist, or simply a person with a good idea, we’re inviting you to submit a proposal for up to £1,100 to
host an activity in an overlooked space on Fore Street as part of our Night Festival on Thursday 1st December.
We’ve selected three spaces for you to propose to run an activity in. Activities could include live performances, exhibitions, site-specific artwork, creative workshops, talks, film screenings… whatever it might be, we want to hear it!
The three spaces are:
Cousins Snooker Club
Gaby’s Cafe
Outside UCKG Help Centre

To submit your proposals please complete the form below. We recommend that you write and save a draft proposal in Microsoft Word before submitting.
The deadline for proposals is Wednesday 16th November, 10pm.
We will respond to all applicants by Thursday 17th November, 6pm to inform them of the outcome and can provide feedback.
